Smart clearing units with integrated weighing (MPEI and MPEIK range)

Smart clearing units with integrated weighing are designed to measure food waste quantities in real time. Thanks to their integrated weighing system, colour touchscreen and lift-up ramp, they help professionals reduce food waste and sort bio-waste.

Technical specifications

• AISI 304L stainless steel construction: unit made from AISI 304L stainless steel to meet the hygiene requirements of collective catering environments.
• Reinforced upstand top: reinforced 15/10e thick top, with 30° inclined backsplash measuring 100 x 20 mm and 10 mm radius at the base.
• Top finish: 20 mm rounded front edge, 60 mm downstand and welded corners.
• Waste chute openings: Ø165 mm waste chute openings with black rubber edging; other colours available on request: red, green, yellow or blue.
• Base: Ø38 mm stainless steel tube legs fixed into stainless steel rails, with ABS adjustable feet.
• Lift-up ramp: Ø38 mm tube ramp with PVC end caps, designed to make bin handling easier and allow the unit to be moved from one room to another.
• Touchscreen: 5’’ colour touchscreen on an adjustable support, with intuitive control and programming interface.
• Integrated industrial scale: lift-up stainless steel scale suited to aggressive environments and hygiene requirements.
• Weighing sensor: central support-point sensor in aluminium, IP65 resistance.
• Weight display: thrown-away food weight displayed on the 5’’ colour screen with an educational good or poor practice indicator.
• Data monitoring: time-stamped data, stored locally and recoverable via the included Wi-Fi connection.
• Supervision: monitoring of waste quantities by service, by day, by week and as an annual total.
• Full-bin alert: configurable alert to avoid overfilled bags and reduce handling strain.
• Safety: IP44 screen and local data storage.
• Display panel: supplied with 1 “Waste sorting” display panel per waste chute opening, with choice of visual.
