How can we portray Sofinor as it is today?

How can we showcase our industrial expertise while giving a central place to the women and men who bring it to life every day?

This was the ambition behind our new corporate film: an immersion behind the scenes at Sofinor, at the heart of our professional stainless steel equipment design and manufacturing site.

SHOWING THE COMPANY AS IT IS TODAY

Our previous film no longer fully reflected how our company has evolved.

In recent years, our industrial facilities have been modernised. Some of our processes have been digitalised, new robotic equipment has been introduced into our workshops, and our workspaces have evolved. Our CSR approach has also taken on a more significant role within our organisation and working environment.

It was therefore time to take a fresh look at Sofinor and show what we are today: a French manufacturer of professional stainless steel equipment and furniture, combining manual expertise, industrial technologies, bespoke design and teamwork.

The film also reflects the values that guide us every day: enjoyment in working together, team spirit, innovation and high standards.

FROM THE CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENTS TO THE FINISHED STAINLESS STEEL EQUIPMENT

The film follows both the progress of a project and the journey of our raw material: stainless steel.

It all begins by listening to and analysing the customer’s requirements. The sales team and the design office work together, assess the technical constraints and develop a suitable solution.

In the workshops, stainless steel sheets are then cut, punched, folded, welded and polished. The film highlights the complementary relationship between the precise skills of our operators and the capabilities of our industrial equipment: laser cutting, punching and folding lines, welding robots and digitalised logistics solutions.

This is followed by assembly, finishing and quality control operations, before the products are packed and shipped to our customers.

This sequence of operations illustrates our ability to design and manufacture stainless steel equipment of varying levels of complexity: stainless steel furniture for professional kitchens, stainless steel tables and sinks, hygiene equipment, dishwashing area equipment, products for healthcare facilities and professional rotisseries.

Through the Sofinor, Arcania and Inotech brands, these shared industrial skills serve sectors with specific requirements: foodservice and catering professionals, professional kitchens, healthcare facilities, mobile traders and market operators.

MACHINERY, BUT ABOVE ALL PEOPLE AND SKILLS

Although the film shows our machinery and production facilities, it places particular emphasis on the women and men who use them.

A machine adjustment, a weld, a visual inspection, a discussion around a drawing or the passing on of a technical skill all reflect expertise built through experience. Technology supports our teams, but it does not replace their judgement, precision or product knowledge.

From production meetings to discussions between colleagues, the film also highlights the importance of cooperation between our different departments. Each project relies on a chain of complementary skills, from the customer’s initial request through to the product leaving our site.

A FILMING PROJECT SUPPORTED BY OUR EMPLOYEES

The making of this film was a collective project.

During filming, our employees agreed to open up their daily working environment and present their profession in front of the camera. They shared their skills, workplace and expertise with sincerity and commitment.

In the offices, workshops, logistics areas and outdoor spaces, everyone contributed to presenting an accurate image of Sofinor. This involvement reflects our teams’ dedication to their profession, the quality of their work and the company they help move forward every day.

This film is theirs too.

AN INDUSTRIAL COMPANY MINDFUL OF ITS ENVIRONMENT

Our new film also reflects our commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The green spaces, orchard, vegetable garden, areas of managed mowing, waste sorting zones and communal spaces appear throughout the film. These images are not separate from our industrial activity: they reflect our aim to develop the company while taking account of its environment, local area and the well-being of our employees.

STEP INSIDE SOFINOR

Through this new film, we wanted to show an evolving industrial company in which technological innovation remains closely linked to human expertise.

A French company that listens, designs, transforms stainless steel, manufactures, inspects and ships professional equipment. Above all, a company driven by women and men who are committed to their profession.

Step behind the scenes at Sofinor and meet the people who give shape to your professional stainless steel equipment.
